Uploaded a hopefully helpful video for that pesky elastic waistband!

Sizing Measurements:
Low Waist: 22.5 (25.5, 28.25, 30.5, 33.5, 36.25, 39.25, 49.25, 59.25) in
Full Hip: 29 (32, 35, 37.75, 39.25, 42.25, 45, 50, 60) in

sizing note: the waist will fit up to a 45” waist and a 50” hip! The pattern reads for a 39.25” waist and 45” hip. That is the measurement after you subtract your 5” negative ease from a normal 3XL waist size!

I’m pretty sure these are the most comfortable leggings I have ever worn. The garter stitch makes them super squish and comfy! They accentuate all my best leg features, and hide all of my worst! With tons of ease for movement and flexing you can’t go wrong.

These leggings are worked top-down, in the round for the waist, and seamed rows for the legs. There is short row shaping for your rump and a gusset for your lady area! Legs are worked flat, one at a time using held stitches from the hip section (can be worked simultaneously), and seamed from the ankle up at the end.

Oh so comfortably stretchy with 3-5 inches of negative ease but enough garter stretch to never feel tight, but tight enough to never sag or slip. When measuring, choose the size 3-5 inches smaller than desired actual low waist measurement.

You will need one set of US #2.5 needles and any fingering weight yarn of your choice. I suggest a sturdy fiber as these will experience more friction than a shawl or scarf.

I completed a size medium with 3 complete skeins of yarn. If you are making capris you can probably get away with 2 1/2 skeins. You can also stop these leggings at any length due to the symmetrical decreases down the legs. If you are making any of the Plus sizes I would recommend 4 skeins at least.
