Die leichte Brise Socken werden von oben nach unten gestrickt, wobei mit einem klassischen 2x2 Rippbündchen begonnen wird und die Socke dann in Runden als Socken-Tube musterlos rechtsgestrickt wird. Anschließend wird eine kurze Zehenspitze gestrickt und eine Afterthought-Ferse eingearbeitet.

Über die Anleitung:
Die leichte Brise Socken habe ich entworfen, weil mir noch schöne und angenehm tragbare Socken für den Sommer fehlten. Durch ein bisschen herumprobieren und aufribbeln, habe ich schlussendlich diese Kombination an Stricktechniken, wie sie in dieser Sockenanleitung verwendet werden, für mich als ideale Sommersocke gefunden.
Aufgrund dessen habe ich auch das Regia Cotton Color Garn gewählt, um diese Socken zu stricken. Die Socken sind schlicht gehalten und haben kein Muster oder aufwendige Stricktechniken. Dadurch stechen gerade die sommerlichen Farbtöne und Farbverläufe der Cotton Color hervor und verleihen den Socken das gewisse, spaßige etwas. Zudem durch das wollfreie Sockengarn so eine angenehm tragbare Socke, auch bei deutlich höheren Temperaturen, entsteht.
Die Sockenanleitung besteht somit aus keinen neuen „Strickerfindungen“, sondern versucht lediglich eine Allrounder-Socke gut zu erklären und verfügbar zu machen, indem bereits bekannte Konzepte zusammengefasst und erläutert werden.

Empfohlenes Garn: Regia Cotton Color Sockengarn (100g ~ 420 m).

Maschenprobe: 34 Maschen & 51 Runden in 10x10 cm.

Nadelstärke: 2.25 mm.

Nadeln: Die Socken können mit Kurz-Rundstricknadeln, der Magic-Loop Variante oder einem Nadelspiel gestrickt werden. Für ein reibungsloses und angenehmes Strickerlebnis empfehle ich die Nutzung von Kurz-Rundstricknadeln (25 cm) und einer zusätzlichen Rundstricknadel (60-80 cm).

Großenguide: Die Socken wurden so entworfen, dass sie schön eng am Fuß sitzen. Solltest du deine Socken lieber lockerer bevorzugen wähle bitte eine Größe größer.

Materialien: 5 MM (wovon sich einer optisch von den anderen MM abhebt), Schere, Vernähnadel.

The light breeze socks are knit top down starting with a timeless 2x2 rib cuff, after which the sock tube is knit in the round in stockinette stitch. The toe is knit in a shortened variation in order to adapt beautifully to the shape of the foot. As the last step, the heel is knit using the afterthought construction.

About the pattern:

I designed the light breeze socks because I was missing a pair of nice, comfortable, and breathable knitted socks for the summer. After a few hours of trial and error, including some frogging, I finally found the perfect combination of techniques, which are utilized in this pattern, to create the perfect sock for summer.
Because of this I decided to use the Regia Cotton Color yarn to knit these socks. The pattern itself is rather simple and does not feature an exciting stitch pattern. Because of this, especially colorful, variegated, or self-striping sock yarns get their moment to shine, giving the socks an exciting and summery feeling. Additionally, the cotton-based, free of wool, sock yarn contributes to a beautiful and stretchy sock which is comfortable to wear in warmer and hot weather.
Therefore, is this sock pattern not based on any new techniques or designs but rather clearly explains a pattern for a versatile sock in depth and makes the progress of sock knitting beginner friendly, while opening up the act of sock knitting and wearing of handknitted socks for any season of the year
