The Leighton House Handwarmers design is available as a kit! Please see my Etsy store here or contact me for more info.

These lightweight handwarmers are an ideal extra layer for when the weather is not as warm as you would like it to be!

The damask-inspired pattern of the colourwork reminds me of the Arab Hall in Leighton House, the former residence of the Victorian artist Lord Frederick Leighton.

A note on sizing: These hand warmers are knit in one size to fit
snuggly on most hand sizes. The lace weight yarn knits into a thin, light and stretchy fabric. Photos show the hand warmers on hands that measure 19cm across the knuckle. Please ensure that you carry the strands loosely for a good fit. If you find that your tension is tighter than mine then please go up a needle size to 2.25mm.
