These socks are knitted cuff down and there is a lace panel at the instep of the sock. The socks have french heels with stockinette stitch and rounded toe decreases. Cuffs are knitted with twisted rib. The pattern is written to be knitted with circular needles and magic loop.

Sizing
The pattern has five sizes: 56, 60, 64, 68 and 72 stitch size but you can knit the foot of your socks as long as you need to. The circumferences are: 6.5/7.0/7.5/7.9/8.4 in (16.5/17.7/18.9/20/21.2 cm). Your sock should be a bit snug on your feet! There is a chart in the pattern to help you with the sizing.

You’ll need:

• 330 - 440 yd (300 - 400 m) fingering weight yarn (about 440 yd/400 m per 3.2 oz/100 g). The yardage needed depends on the size of the sock. I recommend choosing uni color, speckled or semi solid yarn for these socks.
• Circular needles size US 1/2.25 mm (or the size you’ll get the right gauge!). Make sure you have long enough cable (I recommend at least 31.5 in/80 cm but a bit longer cable works better). It is super important to get the gauge right. You should aim to 34 st/43 rows per 4 in/10 cm knitted in stockinette stitch.

Nämä sukat neulotaan varresta varpaisiin ja sukkien etupuolella on pitsipaneeli. Sukissa on ranskalainen lappukantapää, joka neulotaan sileänä neuleena, ja pyöreät kärkikavennukset. Varren joustin neulotaan kierrettynä joustinneuleena. Ohje on kirjoitettu neulottavaksi pyöröpuikoilla.

Koot
Ohjeessa on viisi kokoa 56, 60, 64, 68 ja 72 silmukan ympärykselle, mutta voit neuloa sukan terän niin pitkäksi kuin haluat. Sukan ympärysmitat ovat: 16.5/17.7/18.9/20/21.2 cm. Huomaa, että sukan tulee olla ympärysmitaltaan jalkaa kapeampi! Ohjeessa annetaan sukan terän mitoitusta varten kokotaulukko helpottamaan oikean koon neulomista.

Tarvitset:

• 300 - 400 m fingering-vahvuista lankaa (langan paksuus noin 400 m/100 g). Langanmenekki riippuu neulomastasi koosta. Suosittelen valitsemaan mahdollisimman tasavärisen langan näihin sukkiin.
• 2,25 mm pyöröpuikot (tai puikot kokoa, jolla saavutat halutun neuletiheyden!) vähintään 80-senttisellä kaapelilla. On erityisen tärkeää saada tiheys täsmäämään ohjeessa suositeltuun, jotta sukistasi tulee oikean kokoiset. Tavoiteltu neuletiheys on 34 S/43 KRS/10 cm sileällä neuleella neulottuna.
