Do you want a quick and easy crochet project? The Lelaina Scarf is the perfect quick make, suitable for beginners or the more experienced crocheter.

The idea behind the design was a need for a little scarf somedays during the transition from Winter to Spring. Functionality wasn’t the only reason, however, I think it adds a touch of chicness to any outfit. It’s a simple design using only single crochet, one of the most important stitches you need to know, used in rows and as the edging. It can be crocheted in sport weight or fingering weight yarn, the latter results in a more delicate scarf.

I used 50g/130m of sport weight yarn with a 3.5mm hook or 50g/200m of fingering weight yarn with a 3.0mm hook.

Finished Measurements:
• Wingspan – 86cm/34”
• Length from centre of neckline to tip of the triangle – 11.5cm/4.5”

Blocking is recommended to open up the stitchwork and to create a beautiful soft drape.
