This lemon bag is a drawstring bag that is knitted with scrap yarn and can be made to suit your preferences. It is knitted with 4 double pointed needles or with the magic loop technique. The inside of the bag can be lined with a fabric, depending on what you want to use it for. You can also stuff the bag and close the top if you want to make a lemon plushie.
I strongly recommend using scrap yarn and play around with the look. Maybe you want two leaves? Maybe three? Maybe you want a green bag, so it’s more of a lime bag? Or just a multicoloured bag? It’s all up to you!

This bag used up 35 gr of the bulky mustard coloured yarn, 10 gr of yellow mohair yarn, 10 gr of green fingering yarn and 5 gr of green mohair yarn. It’s the perfect project to use up some of your scrap yarn!

The gauge is: 5x5cm = 10 rows x 7 stitches

Apart from needles (4 DPN size 8 mm (11 US size) and one pair of 3,5 mm (4 US size), you’re going to need some scissors, three stitch markers, a tapestry needle and a safety pin.
Oh, and a little bit of patience ;)
