Lemon Zest Vest
The Lemon Zest Vest features a slightly A-line body, wide ribbing and a stunning center cable panel on both the front and back. The cables “rest” on a field of stockinette stitch. The hem, armbands and neckband are a done in 2x2 ribbing. The vest is knit in the round from the bottom up until the armholes. Then the piece is split into front and back and worked flat through the armhole and neck shaping until the shoulders. It is seamed at the shoulders then stitches are picked up for the neckband and armbands. Knit with worsted weight yarn, the cables are easy to make but give off an elegant, complicated feel. This pattern comes in 9 sizes and is appropriate for the adventurous beginner and beyond. This vest is a great way to explore cables while creating a versatile piece you’ll love to wear.
