Lena’s Fly Bonnet
This pattern is made up of two separate pieces that are joined by an invisible seam. You will need your own horse’s measurements to correctly size the item to your needs.

Items Needed-
• 3.5mm Hook
• 100% Mercerized Cotton (I use Lion Brand 24/7 Cotton. Each bonnet takes a little less than one skein if it is one solid color).
• Stitch Markers (I use bobby pins)
• Fabric Glue
• Darning Needle
• Any trimmings you want (I use colored rope and chains of crystals)
• Needle and thread matching your yarn color.

Terms Used-
• CH - Chain Stitch
• ST - Slip Stitch
• DC - Double Crochet
• SC - Single Crochet
• HDC - Half Double Crochet
• MOC - middle of circle- The space in between the three DC of the previous row. It sits on the 1 CH stitch you made between the DC.

Measurements you will need-
• Ear to ear
• Poll to middle of eyes
• Circumference of ears
• Length of ears
