SPRING SCARF

What was supposed to be just to try out a new ball of yarn ended up giving wings to a new creation.

When I started knitting the first version of the scarf, simple and in just one color, with the Abraço yarn, reaching the middle of the scarf, I realized that I was not satisfied with the result and that I wanted something more colorful and more graceful. I thought it would be interesting to add another color, or two! I then went to the wool closet and thought that the balls of mohair I had there would be ideal for creating a striped pattern. The colors - white and yellow - would be perfect together with the base color, the pink color of the Abraço yarn. In the end, spring colors for me. The colors of the flowers that warm my heart.

And so, the spring scarf came out of my needles.

The Spring Scarf is a versatile piece, because you can make it any size you want and with whatever threads you have in your stash.

I therefore suggest that you analyze the colors to be used in your piece; that you analyze the leftover balls of yarn that you have at home, or new balls of yarn that you would like to try. It’s a great piece to experiment with and take risks without being afraid to use color!

The yarns I used are the result of that, of trying a yarn I had never used before, and then adding others I had at home. The wires are therefore merely indicative. You can use other balls of yarn if you like.

YARNS THAT USED::
COLOR A - 1 ball of Abraço, color 03 (50g, 140m), from Rosários4.
COLOR B - 1 ball of AURORA, color 01 (white) (25g, 210m), from Rosários4.
COLOR C - 1 ball of AURORA, color 86 (yellow) (25g, 210m), from Rosários4.

For the Aurora balls, which are a silk-mohair, I used double yarn. In other words, I divided each ball into two and knitted with two strands together. So, if you also want to knit with mohair yarn, I suggest preparing the balls of yarn before you start knitting.

GAUGE:
In this project, it is not strictly necessary to obtain a sample value. However, I suggest you make a small sample to understand the tension of the mesh, whether it is tight or too loose, whether it is necessary to change the needles, etc.

NEEDLES: I used 4mm circular needles. However, it will depend on your voltage and the thickness of wires to be used.

LENCINHO PRIMAVERA

Aquilo que seria só para experimentar um novelo novo, acabou por dar asas a uma nova criação.

Quando comecei a tricotar a primeira versão do lenço, simples e apenas de uma só cor, com o fio Abraço, chegado a meio do lenço, percebi que não estava satisfeita com o resultado e que queria algo mais colorido e com mais graça. Pensei que seria interessante juntar uma outra cor, ou mais duas! Fui, então, ao armário das lãs e achei que os novelos de mohair que ali tinha, seriam o ideal para criar um padrão de riscas. As cores - branco e amarelo - ficariam perfeitas juntamente com a cor base, a cor rosa do fio Abraço. No fim, as cores primavera para mim. As cores das flores que me aconchegam o coração.

E assim, saiu das minhas agulhas, o lencinho primavera.

O Lencinho Primavera é uma peça versátil, porque podes fazer do tamanho que desejares e com os fios que tiveres no teu stash.

Sugiro, por isso, que analises as cores a usar na tua peça; que analises as sobras de novelos que tens aí por casa, ou novelos novos que gostasses de experimentar. É uma óptima peça para experimentar e arriscar sem medo de usar cor!

Os fios que usei são resultado disso mesmo, de experimentar um fio que nunca tinha usado, e depois juntar outros que tinha aqui por casa. Os fios, são por isso, meramente indicativos. Poderá usar outros novelos a gosto.

FIOS USADOS NA PEÇA ORIGINAL:

COR C - 1 novelo de AURORA, cor 86 (amarelo) (25g, 210m), da Rosários4. Usei fio duplo

Para os novelos Aurora, que são um silk-mohair, usei fio duplo. Ou seja, dividi cada novelo em dois e tricotei com dois fios juntos. Por isso, se também quiser tricotar com o fio mohair, sugiro que prepare os novelos antes de começar a tricotar.

AMOSTRA:
Neste projecto, não é estritamente necessário obter um valor da amostra. No entanto, sugiro que faças uma pequena amostra para perceber a tensão da malha, se fica apertada ou demasiada larga, se é necessário trocar de agulhas, etc.

AGULHAS: Usei agulhas circulares de 4mm. No entanto, dependerá da sua tensão e da espessura de fios a utilizar.
