Lend a Hand Mittens are knit bottom up, with a 2x1 rib pattern and simple stockinette for the palm and fingers. The sample was knit for Laura Nelkin’s Knit for Food 2024 and was completed in approximately 4 hours.

Worsted Weight - approx. 50g/150 yds
Sample Yarn: Bergere de France - Norvege (discontinued) - Rocheuse 40% Manufactured Fibers - Acrylic, 40% Wool, 20% Goat - Mohair

Needles:
US 8/ 5mm - Circular -30” cable length or 1 set of double pointed needles

Gauge:
18 stitches - 24 rows over 4”/10 cm in stockinette
