This cardigan is knitted from the bottom up. The body of the sweater is worked in one piece to the underarm. The button band is worked at the same time as the front pieces, then extended and sewn along the back neck edge. The sleeves are worked separately in the round and set in. Two different cables add interest, one along the sleeves and another down center back.
