Lento Striped Polo Tee is a top-down knit with a relaxed and natural fit. The piece begins at the back neck edge. Increases are worked evenly to shape the back shoulder line.
After that, stitches are picked up to knit the front panels. The button band is made after knitting the front panels to a set length. Buttonholes are then worked to finish the opening.
Though it is a smal detail, the buttonholes are designed to look neat and clean, giving the knit a more polished finish. After creating the underarm cast-on stitches, the body is worked in the round.
The sleeves and colar are made by picking up stitches around the armholes and neckline.
