Named for the Leonids, a prolific meteor shower named for the constellation Leo, this top-down seamless sweater is a humble homage to an astronomical wonder. Every 33 years the Leonids storm creates a spectacular show, of which this sweater beautifully illustrates in two shades of our Lore yarn. Featuring a bold pattern of stylized meteors round the yoke, this is a beautiful statement sweater that is as fun to knit as it is to wear!

The Almanac Series II
The Leonida Sweater is part of The Almanac Series II, which is a seasonal guide to knitting with The Fibre Co. yarns. Based on the original farmer’s Almanac guide to the seasons, this collection celebrates each month of the year with our Yarn of the Month and a new design launch in that yarn.

For The Almanac Series II, we looked to the heavens for inspiration. The beauty and grandeur of the night sky and awe-inspiring astronomical phenomena guided our creativity.
