Simply elegant best describes this knitted triangular shawl. Larger needles create a slightly open knit. Knit stitches along the bottom edge were later dropped to become fringe and beads are added to the fringe for a little sparkle. Garter stitch along the top edge provides stability and allows the knitted edge to lie flat.

The yarn - Mary Gavan Yarns, Sea - is held double throughout.

One skein of Sea in Mesquite and one skein of Sea in Blue Slate were used in the sample shown.

I rate this project as intermediate as the yarn can be slippery (rayon/linen blend), but also gives the finished product a beautiful drape.
