One inspired by the excitement of driving to collect Christmas trees in the snowy woods and the other by adorable snowmen (complete with carrot nose and wooly scarf!).

Driving Home for Christmas
It´s almost Christmas and it´s time to bundle up and drive to the Christmas tree farm to pick out the perfect tree on a snowy, magical evening during Advent time. Knit from the top down, starting with a ribbed cuff, these socks have a short row heel and a fun to knit stranded colourwork pattern, featuring many different sections to depict cars driving through a snowy wood during the build up to Christmas. The design is knit with only two colours in each round. A video tutorial for the heel. This pattern uses the magic loop circular needle method (but can be knit with 23cm (9 inch) circulars or DPNs).

Snowmen Party socks
To celebrate this simple joy of building a snowman in winter time, I’ve designed these cheerful snowman socks to keep our toes cosy during the cold, possibly snowy winter months! Knit from the top down with a ribbed cuff, these snowman socks have a short row heel (video tutorial provided). There is a fun, stranded colourwork repeating snowman motif pattern that runs throughout the leg and foot. The motif has three rounds of 3 colours for the carrot nose and scarf. This can be duplicate stitched instead if preferred. This pattern uses the magic loop circular needle method (but can be knit with 23cm (9 inch) circulars or DPNs).
