This sweater is knitted in four separate pieces (back panel, front panel, two sleeves) and sewn together at the end. Stitches are picked up for the neck ribbing afterwards.

This is an ideal stash buster project. Use at least nine colours. Avoid using different yarn weights together; make sure the meterage per 100 g is about the same for all the colours you are going to use.

You could also go a little less daring and use only two colours.

A custom length option is given in case you want something longer. You can make the built-in wrist warmer, or just have a normal sleeve.
