This beaded lace shawl is a show stopper. Although it is made using sport weight yarn, the shawl is not heavy, and lends itself to cool spring nights. There are two methods of adding beads to your knitting contained within the pattern. The lace is not a difficult one while showing off the beads.

The stitches are both charted out and written out.

Skill level: Intermediate (assuming a working knowledge of cable and lace knitting).

The shawl was expertly test knitted by Debi Maige, who can be reached at: locations@ verizon.net. The shawl was knitted with Lorna’s Laces Sportmate yarn. in colorway, Mirth. The final measurement is approximately 23 inches x 72 inches, and requires approximately 1100 yards.

There are also instructions contained within the pattern for an optional crocheted edging.
