LFM Cotton Candy 20
I love eating cotton candy! It really makes me feel like a happy, carefree kid!
A quick YouTube tutorial is available where I show you how to do this technique.
You will receive a 3-page PDF with written instructions (US terminology) and a chart to make a 10” square using the Locked Filet Mesh (LFM) interlocking crochet technique.
LFM uses only chain spaces and double crochets to create a mesh which is interwoven as you go. Two colors are worked in alternate rows to create the pattern.

Important Details
Pattern is in US crochet terminology
4.5 mm hook (US7)
Worsted weight yarn (131 yards total)
o Main color (MC) – 60 yards plus 11 for optional border
o Accent color (AC) – 60 yards
Finished square (with border) measures approximately 10”
Gauge
4 DC x 2 rows = 1” square
You can choose whichever colors you like! Usually MC is darker than AC and the design will show up better if the colors are not too similar to each other.
I use hook size 4.5 (US7) in my patterns but as long you are consistent with your squares (make them the same size) you will be able to join them and create your blanket.
