Lianas are woody vines that are rooted in soil but grow upward, using trees and other surrounding matter as support so that it may reach out of the canopy to the sun. A giant liana, about 200 years old, grows within the Udawattekele forest of Kandy, Sri Lanka.

These socks have small vine motifs in the ribbing.
