This is an asymmetrical shawl that requires one full (100g) skein of yarn and 5 20 gram corresponding minis.

Needle: US 7 4.5 mm 40” circular needle

Yarn: 1 skein fingering weight yarn (at least 400 yards) and 5 20g minis (93 yards each). For best result Main color should be a solid, tonal, or lightly speckled yarn. Pattern is meant to show off the mini showing how life changes. Pattern is shown in MC: ArkansasYarnCo Yarn on the Super Sparkle Base in the Color Way: Snowflake. For the contrasting colors it is shown in ArkansasYarnCo on the Soft Sock base in the Color Way: Peeps 2018

Total yardage for each color used: MC 330 yards, CC1 50 yards, CC2 70 yards, CC3 65 yards, CC4 60 yards, CC5 65 yards

Notions: 1 progress keeper to mark right side and a darning needle to weave in ends.

This pattern is named after the song Life Changes by Thomas Rhett. While this song was playing on the radio I felt inspired by it and decided that life does in fact change through the years. My life has been a rollercoaster over the last 10 years. Each mini will show how my life has changed on the roller coaster ride, but the main yarn will show the constant support I have had in my life between the changes.

Hope you enjoy the making this as much as I did designing it!
