A shawl inspired by our lifepath, full of different experiences: plain parts, more difficult ones, paths that cross… Represented with the different stitches and textures.

The shawl is knit flat, with an i-cord edge, and alternating colour and stitch sections. The form is an asymmetrical triangle, with a lace final edge.

YARN
COLOUR 1 (C1): 185 m / 203 yds of laceweight or light fingering
weight yarn.
Sample shown in Ovejita Be! Boniqueta (Laceweight); 500 m/100 g; 100% Superwash Merino) in colourway: Mist Teal.
COLOUR 2 (C2): 290 m / 318 yds of laceweight or light fingering weight yarn.
Sample shown in Ovejita Be! Boniqueta (Laceweight); 500 m/100 g; 100% Superwash Merino) in colourway Sunrise.
COLOUR 3 (C3): 265 m / 290 yds of laceweight or light fingering weight yarn.
Sample shown in Ovejita Be! Boniqueta (Laceweight): 500 m/100 g; 100% Superwash Merino) in colourway Mist Teal Speckled.

I suggested to use yarn leftovers from your stash, in light fingering or laceweight, since you don’t need 3 full skeins of yarn.

NEEDLES
3.75 mm / US 5, 80-100 cm / 32-40” circular needles or size required to obtain gauge.

SIZE
One Size. The shawl measures 153 cm / 60.25”long and 75 cm/ 29.50” deep.

GAUGE
24 stitches x 34 rows / rounds = 10 cm / 4” in moss stitch knit flat, using 3.75 mm / US 5 size needles, after blocking.
Getting the exact gauge is not crucial for this project; however, it will affect the yardage needed and finished measurements.
