What is the one thing that most beachy totes are missing, I asked myself one night while contemplating yet another fun meshy carry-all for myself. Why a solid pocket of course? But where would it go…Most traditional pocket placements would interfere with the meshy-goodness of this staple. Why not put this pocket where a solid piece of fabric is desired! So I schemed up a mesh beachy bag with a nice solid bottom. Then added a second bottom inside to create a pocket! Even without securing this pocket with a zipper or button, it provides an excellent place to stash the phone and keys at your favorite summer watering hole (a bit more classy than just shoving them under the towel).

This pattern also includes a wonderful clutch purse to take the essentials along for dinner after a day at the beach.
