This hat is knit using fingering-weight yarn in one colour, from the bottom-up or from the top-down. It features a folded brim, deliciously squishy waffle texture, and a light amount of slouchiness that is easily customizable to suit your taste.

SIZES
Baby (Child, Adult Small, Adult Large) to fit 17 (19, 21, 23)”/43 (48, 53, 58) cm head circumference.

YARN
Approximately 180 (220, 250, 300) yards/165 (200, 229, 274) meters fingering/sock weight yarn.

SUGGESTED NEEDLES
US 4/3.5 mm, or size needed to obtain gauge, 16”/40 cm circular needle and DPNs or long circular needles for the “magic loop” method

GAUGE
28 sts and 40 rows per 4”/10 cm measured over waffle stitch pattern knit in the round, after blocking
