When I think of speed, I think of bullet trains. I’ve never been on one, but I am amazed by the technology of that much mass zipping through space on just electromagnets. Then I consider the electromagnetic forces and gravity forces, and I wonder if we’ll ever zip around the stars on rails of light. This should be a fast knit when you establish the pattern on the sock and are comfortable with twisting stitches without cable needles. For me, knitting this sock is a bullet train off my needles.
