This design consists of a solid background worked in double crochets with a filet piece on top of it. There are 2 sets of battery light strings in the photos. It has a pocket crocheted on the back to hold the battery packs. The filet piece is laid on the solid piece and the light string with the wire is woven thru the tree to hold them together. Then the outer edges of the filet piece are sewn to the back with sewing thread. The second light string has a green cord and the lights can be poked thru the backing into the snowflake sections of at random. The green light wire is then whip stitched over with sewing thread to hold in place. It is hung on a purchased curtain rod and the hanger is a crocheted chain with tassels on the ends and tied around the rod.
