The pattern includes fully written instructions and a supplementary filet chart.

This shallow lightweight shawlette incorporates traditional filet crochet in a contemporary design which takes advantage of the currently popular distinctive crochet look and feel. The airy texture and scarf-like shape makes this wrap a versatile spring/summer accessory. If worked in a sparkly silky yarn, it can be made for special occasions. Any fingering weight yarn with good stitch definition can be used for this design. It is also a good opportunity to use that special skein of sock yarn. I used an entire skein (430yd less a couple of yards) of Araucania Itata.

The size can be easily adjusted use up one-skein yarn effectively.
