This pattern is for a nice lightweight hand warmer. It has an open v-stitch pattern which makes it great for that little bit of extra warmth as the weather turns cooler.

These work up quickly in about 2 hours with approximately half a skein of the yarn used, Bella Baby Wonder.

This pattern fits a hand width of roughly 3.5 inches/9 cm measured across the palm (excluding thumb) however it can be easily scaled up or down to fit different sized hands. Instructions on where to adjust the pattern for different sizes are included with the pattern.

The type of stitches used are: hdc in the third loop for the ribbing, ch, sc and dc for the remainder of the hand warmer.

This is a great project for crochet beginners.
