These socks came about after I made the Like A Diamond Beanie and thought the stitch pattern would look great on socks.

The pattern is very stretchy, so going down a needle size from what you normally use will help with that. That is why it’s listed using size 0 needles.

This pattern is written using a short row heel, but not everyone likes those, and there are some feet that they don’t fit as well. If you would prefer to do an afterthought heel, the instructions on where to place the waste yarn is included.

The sample sock is a total of 6 pattern repeats and used 268 yards. I have a US size 6 1/2 foot and I only did 2 pattern repeats for the leg.

Enjoy the pattern and if you have any questions please let me know. Also, there is a Mel-Tran Designs group here on Ravelry for those who are knitting my patterns. Please come join us!
