Lil’ Oak ~ The Hiding Tree,

I designed this tree to go with my latest free patterns, Lil’ Trouble Teddy, Koala, Frog and the Tiny Squirrel (also a skunk and more tiny friends coming) The tree is 6 inches tall and can hide 4 little bears and squirrels inside.
Pull on the strings and close up the top of the tree. All the little friends are safe and sound inside!

I also designed pouches in the leaves that will hold the little friends in, like a nest, they can sit up in the tree and look around. If you use brown for that part it will look like a nest!

I used a 4.25mm hook but a 4mm or 4.5mm will work as well

I used Red Heart Comfort yarn in Emerald Green and Mocha Brown
