I’ve been making these mitts on the days when I barely have time to knit. They are a quick project that makes a good use of sport/dk/fingering weight scrap yarns. I’d like this pattern to be more of a recipe than an actual strict pattern. It is easily modifiable and may use a variety of yarn weights and types.

I’ve always liked making fingerless mitts because they can keep my hands warm while keeping my fingers free to play the piano. It is also a very quick project that may be finished in an afternoon of knitting if one sat through it.

The pattern name is taken from the Filipino word for Pink. My favourite sample from those I made was the pink one and so I took the name from that. I hope you find enjoyment making this pattern. I look forward to your project.
