This pattern is for a long sleeve sweater knitted in one piece, minimising sewing up. It is knitted from bottom front rib, casting on for sleeves, to neckline and down the back to bottom back rib. The round neckline is a foldover design and it has a shoulder fastening requiring 3 or 4 buttons depending on size.

The centre panel knitted over 20 sts is a mixture of lace and cable, the design would suit either boys or girls and would look good in pastels and bright bold colours to emphasise the centre panel.

The cuffs of the sleeves are knitted after the main garment has been completed and the most sewing required is the side/sleeve seam, completed in one.

It take 2 x 50g balls for the smaller 2 sizes and 3 x 50g balls for the larger 2 sizes.
