Liliane Sweater Coat
-
This pattern is available also in my eBook, Knitting Like a Professor, released December 2010.

Liliane is inspired by the life and adventures of female mountain climber Liliane Barrard. She and two other women were the first women to summit K2 on an expedition in 1986. Liliane died during the descent, but her heroic explorations resonate for women adventurers still. This sweater coat is made of a cozy alpaca yarn and will keep urban mountaineers very warm this winter.
Knit top-down and seamlessless using raglan shaping.
