This beautiful cabled diaper cover is perfect for your new baby! It stretches over the diaper do to its ribbing, so it will fit anything with ease. This pattern features cabling, but is super easy.

It uses ribbing and stockinette. It is perfect for a beginner as it is worked flat on straight needles. If cabling is too daunting, the cables can easily be omitted.

You just need one skein of Woolike (678 yards, light fingering weight). If using another yarn with less yardage per skein, you will probably need two skeins.

You will need a cable needle, but those are easy to find at your local craft store. You will also need 3.25 mm straight needles, stitch markers, a row counter, a measuring tape, and a yarn needle.
