Dress up ordinary socks by adding a little bit of lace and cabling. These socks are cuff down, and the pattern is designed for using circular needles. The pattern is written as knitting one at a time, but can easily be done as TAAT and the sample shown was using TAAT method. The sample shown are also ankle length, but you can knit the leg as long as you want it. There are two sizes for this pattern, Women’s S/M (8 inch sock diameter) and Women’s L (9 inch sock diameter).

Simple enough for beginner sock knitters and interesting enough to keep it from being vanilla.
