This pattern is for Lilith, the Love-Stricken. A queen named Lilith once saw a magnificent raven perched on a stone in a graveyard, and fell in love with the thought of a husband as black as the raven, as blue as his blood, and as gray as the stone he sat upon. Consumed with a furious longing, she sent messengers across the land to search for such a man. Many suitors were found and brought before the queen, but none could match the perfect image she held in her mind’s eye. One-by-one she turned them all away, and to this day, she laments and longs for her magnificent raven to find her…for it is then that she will be alone no more.

Lilith is a nearly seamless crochet doll; her arms must be sewn on using the amigurumi seamless join technique. Also, I do not use wires in my designs, and she is solely stuffed with polyester fiberfill.

Size: With worsted weight yarn and a 2.25 mm crochet hook, Lilith is roughly 11.5 inches tall and between 1 to 2 inches in width. She works up very quickly.

The pattern is in PDF format. The document is 26 pages in length and includes detailed instructions and numerous photo tutorials to guide you through the process of creating her.
