Growing up my mum had lots of flowers in the front garden, she has very green fingers and knows all the plant names in Latin. Lilium convallium was always my favourite because of its unforgettable smell. This sweet and delicate flower stayed in my memory forever.
The hat is knitted in the round featuring decorative ribbing reminding me of my childhood flower.
