the lille blouse (from the estonian word for “flower”) is a top-down circular yoke garment worked seamlessly in the round. the neckline features a gentle, wavy lace pattern. the yoke is decorated with stranded colorwork flower petals and shaped with 6 to 9 increase rounds, depending on the size. after putting the sleeve stitches on hold, the body is worked and finished with the same lace motif as the neckband. the sleeves continue the flower petal pattern, and are completed with a stretchy, comfortable cuff.
