Lille Lars Pullover
I love this little sweater. It’s traditional shape and cut is classic. It’s knit bottom up in the round until the underarms. From there on the front are worked separately. The top of the sweater is joined with a 3-needle bind off, and then the sleeves are picked up around the armhole and knit top down in the round. I love shape of Lille Lars. The split allows you to pull it on an off your little one with ease. The top is fastened with a pewter button. Made for Lars’ first birthday with cozy Biches and Bûches Le Gros Lambswool. This rustic yarn is sourced from wool from Scotland and spun in France. In Norway they say “Det finnes ikke dårlig vær, bare dårlig klær” which means “There is no bad weather, only bad clothes”. This soft yet hardy yarn will keep your little one warm in any weather. Added bonus—it knits up in a flash!
