A striking lace yoke crowns a gently cropped, boxy pullover
to add a note of original style to your cool-weather wardrobe. Wide ribs pricked with simple lace radiate from a bold central motif and sweep like wings to the carefully shaped shoulders. Lilt is worked in the round from the bottom up, with short rows creating a curved hem, then divided to work flat during the dramatic front yoke and unadorned back. The yoke lace is worked from charts. Sleeve stitches are picked up after shoulder seaming and worked circularly to the cuffs. A single rib band finishes the neckline and a dab of simple crochet completes the wide chevron at the bust.

Your bust measurement is less important than your shoulder measurement in selecting a size for this sweater. Measure your circumference—including your arms, hanging naturally at your sides—at a point about three fingers below the point of each shoulder, then choose a body circumference size that is 0-2” larger than this number. Suggestions are included for customizing the length of the body.
