This jacket is knit in the round in one piece and steeked. Charts are included in the pattern. Three colors of yarn are used: 10 skeins of black for the jacket (though it looks purple in the picture), 4 skeins of orange and 3 of green for the lily. There is a note that it might be wise to purchase an extra skein of black, just in case. The needle requirements are two or three 40” circulars in size 3 or 4, a smaller 40” circular one size smaller than need to obtain gauge and another 40” ciruclar one size larger. The pattern is on page 54 of the book Armenian Knitting by Meg Swansen and Joyce Williams.
