Sassy and fun this little summer cardi is for cool lakeside breezes, stormy summer evenings, and bike rides at sunset.

Construction Notes
This cardigan is worked seamlessly with short row sleeve caps and turned hems. The body is worked from the hem up. Once the shoulders are complete stitches are picked up around the arms and sleeves are worked from the top down with short rows to shape the sleeve caps. Twisted stitch rib pulls in at the waist and is mirrored on the sleeves just above the elbow. The sewn picot trim at the hems and i-cord finish make a perfectly polished sweater.

This sweater is designed in Periwinkle Sheep’s Merino Sport yarn. The solid gauge, twisted stitches, and close fitting of this cardigan compliment the softness of superwash merino and show off the stitch definition of this high twist yarn.
