This pattern uses the Interlocking Filet Crochet Technique

It’s the start of Spring in the Southern Hemisphere and its Heritage Month in South Africa, so its apt to release this design today (1 September 2022)

LIMESTONE SUGARBUSH also known as the Protea is native to the Cape Province of South Africa.

The wallhanging is not huge at all. Worked in Sport weight cotton yarn with a 2.5mm crochet hook, it measures 53 x 92cm.

It’s an easy project to follow and the pattern is available for both lefthanded and righthanded crocheters.

I have also included the files for both Color Changes (using 5 colors) and No Color Changes (2 colors)

Total Yarn Usage:

No Color Changes:
Col A x 875m
Col B x 750m

Color Changes:
Col 1 - 500m
Col 2 - 750m
Col 3 - 125m
Col 4 - 125m
Col 5 - 125m
