BUCK IS BACK -

BACK BY POPULAR DEMAND! - Seriously, I’ve had so many requests that I couldn’t not - could I?

So he’s (or she, I believe only the females have antlers!) here, again - with a Spring in his/ her step - and still pretty good value!

    • Last time there was a confusion with regards to the yarn - You’ll need 2 balls of each of the colours mentioned except for the pink ear colour - only a small amount for that - about half a 50gm ball at most.*

However! If you don’t want to treble up with the yarn like I did and use just an aran or dk weight in one colour then you’ll need 3 x 50gm balls.

My little fawn is knitted (almost) in one piece joining as you go - the legs and ears you sew on after.

I’ve knitted him using fine Alpaca silk yarn with Alpaca mix yarn PLUS a touch of kidsilk from my fave - Drops yarn - and tripled up to create the whiteness I wanted - but if you wanted you could just use a white/ off-white DK/ worsted or aran yarn….

You’ll also need a pair of 24 mm toy eyes and toy filling….

AND - there is also a YouTube video illustrating how to make up a similar fawn and how to make it look as real as can be (given it’s made from yarn and not fur!)
- the link to that is given within the pattern
