Linar Tee
What is new in V.2?
- added optional bust shaping (horizontal bust darts)
- refined the sleeve cap shaping for some sizes
- made minor revisions throughout the pattern to improve clarity
- added a size guide
- updated the layout, schematic, photographs of both samples, and overall presentation
DESCRIPTION
The tee is knitted seamlessly from the top down in stockinette stitch. First, the back is worked flat. During this section, increases are worked to shape the underarms. Next, the left front shoulder is worked, and neckline shaping is formed using increases. The right front is then worked in the same way.
Once both fronts are complete, they are joined at the centre front to shape the neckline. The back and front are then joined and worked together in the round, finishing with a double folded-hem. The sleeves are shaped with short rows, then worked in the round and finished with double-folded cuffs. Finally, stitches are picked up along the neckline to create a double-folded neckband.
The pattern includes schematics, size guide, video tutorials (showing how to work the wrap & turn short rows and the wrapped stitch), and instructions for optional horizontal bust shaping.
