These socks feature colorwork patterns reminiscent of ancient runes and the symbols on the Lindisfarne Gospels manuscript in colors that the 1970s band Lindisfarne might have approved of.

Worked from the toe up, this is the more challenging of the colorwork socks in this book. The patterning is a little more complex, and a little bit of thinking is required when working the gusset increases into
the pattern to ensure that the pattern on the heel fl ap aligns with that in the leg.

Uses two colours, less than a full skein of each.

Pattern is written so that it can be worked on DPNs, magic loop or 2 circulars, as you prefer. Foot and leg length are adjustable to fit.
