A unisex hat, knitted in traditional Fair Isle designs, and an ideal introduction to two-colour knitting and working in the round, suitable for those with a little experience. It is designed to be worn as a loose, slouchy style with a ribbed brim and is finished with a wheel pattern crown.

The Fair Isle design is worked from a chart and colours can be changed as required, to suit the knitter or the yarn available.

It’s perfect for use with my BFL 4-ply or Shetland 4-ply mini-skeins.

It’s a great way of using up oddments of yarn - particularly variegated ones which can give the effect of a much more complicated design than is actually the case!

Kits are available from my website here.
