Beginner level pattern!
This cardigan is knitted from side to side in a striped pattern; The sleeves are knitted from the top to bottom; 

All the pieces are knitted flat and then joined together;

The pattern comes with technical drawings (last 3 pages) and links for some techniques.

Techniques you need to make this cardigan:

Stockinette Stitch;
Loop cast on; 

Russian Cast Off; 

Decreases;

Knitted cast on;

Vertical and Horizontal seams. 



Stockinette Stitch:

Instead knit one row, purl one row, it’s knit two rows, purl two rows because you will be sliding your work to the opposite side each time is needed for the next color.



This type of stitch rolls at the edges, so be mindful of this when choosing your yarn, it has to be more structured, to hold the shape of this kind of neckline. There are instructions to help with this in the pattern.

Sizes:
XS/S, M/L, XL/XXL

Bust circumference: ~116cm,130cm,150cm.

GAUGE
:
In stockinette stitch with 5.5mm needles
:
10cm x 10 cm : 13 sts x 21 rows

(Blocked)

MATERIALS

5.5mm circular needles (80cm at least);

Yarn of your choice or the recommended;

Sewing needles;

15 (16) 17 Buttons (1cm-2cm);

Thread and needle to sew the buttons;

Stitch markers.
