Lineation is the process of drawing or making lines. This crescent shawl has symmetrical lines of garter ridges running through the main section, followed by stripes and then a solid block of colour at its edge.

You can play with colour with this design, using more than the two colours the designer used if you wish. It would be a good beginner project for someone who has yet to make a shawl, and also a great way to use of the leftover yarn.

Pattern requires 330 metres/361 yards of MC and 284 metres/269 yards of CC. If you are substituting yarn then please use a yarn that has good stretch.

Shown in Malabrigo Sock in Main Colour (MC) “Aquas” and Contrast Colour (CC) “Ochre (100% Merino; 100 grams; 402 metres / 439 yards). One skein of each colour required.
