Linen Stitch (also known as moss or granite stitch) Square Blanket is made by joining each with a slip stitch at the end of each row and turning the work which makes a truly square and reversible blanket.

The pattern can easily be adapted to make a rectangle.

It is a simple pattern that should be easy for anyone with knowledge of the following: Single Crochet, Slip Stitch, Chain Stitch and how to use a magic ring to start.

Using 350g of the 4 ply King Cole big value yarn gave me a 90cm or 3ft square blanket. 550g made a 4ft blanket. And can easily be made to any size you wish.

The tutorial on how to make it is at the bottom of the linked blog page.
