Knitted from the top down, this cowl has a series of slipped stitches and mosaic patterns creating texture and lines. There are vertical lines that start and stop at different intervals, followed by a series of horizontal lines that are created by the Lateral Braid stitch and lastly a simulated basked weave. It’s best to use contrasting colors to get the the effect created by the slipped stitches. Lineville is a small town in Alabama and happens to be the same town from which beloved “In The Making” customer, Judy McSween, hails!

Pattern has instructions for light worsted/DK as well as fingering weight yarns.

Roughly 400 yards of light worsted/ DK weight yarn;
Or 500 yards of fingering weight yarn.
